View and Submit Assignments

Online classes require that you submit assignments to Canvas or another online system. Other classes may also use the assignments function in Canvas.

In addition to Canvas, some classes use other online systems like MyMathLab, ALEKS, SAM, Mastering, or others. If your class requires it, your instructor will explain how to use the other system once you get into your class.
FREE MICROSOFT OFFICE! Most instructors will ask you to type your assignment response into a document and then upload the file to Canvas for grading. Students taking credit classes can get MS Office FREE from NWACC. Your access to this service will remain active as long as you are a student at NWACC. If you are a new NWACC student, it may take a few days into the semester for your MS Office account to be activated. Contact the Help Desk at techsupport@nwacc.edu if you need assistance.
    1. Visit portal.office.com (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.
    2. Sign in with your NWACC username and password.
    3. Click the Install Office button at right for the download, or you can use the Office 365 apps online.
