NorthWest Arkansas Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and sports, as well as Club and Intramural sports opportunities for all students! 

Currently, student athletes participate in Cross Country, ESports, and a Cycling Club. However, we're expanding over the next few years! 

 

Student Athlete Facts: 

• Since its formation, the NWACC Men’s and Women’s XC Teams have won the NJCAA Region 2 Championship each year.
• Three NWACC Esports teams made playoffs during their first season in 2023
• In 2022 and 2023, a total of eight NWACC Athletes received an NJCAA All-American or an Academic All-American honor.
  • NJCAA Academic All-American and All-American Honor: An NJCAA Academic All-American is based on academic performance, where students must obtain a minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA. An NJCAA All-American is based on athletic performance, where students must finish in the top 15% Nationally.
• NWACC competes in Region 2 for NJCAA, which comprises all of Arkansas and Oklahoma two-year colleges.
